About the Zuckerberg Water Prize
The Zuckerberg Water Prize is an international award and the Executive Committee welcomes the nomination of candidates researching, developing or implementing effective and sustainable water knowledge, solutions , management and policies in the whole world.
The awards ceremony will take place during the biannual International Water Summit where the winner will deliver a plenary lecture in their area of expertise and attend the full program .

Zuckerberg Water Prize Criteria
- Nominated candidates are evaluated on the following criteria, with an emphasis on equal opportunities:
- Outstanding achievements of lasting significance
- Academic, technological or political research , or international development
- Public advocacy
- Leadership in water issues
